Nobody offers more for the money. The Bendix A3000 gives you the features of atomic absorption spectrophotometers costing much more. Its advanced design provides a range of detection comparable to the present state of the art. Probably no other atomic absorption spectrophotometer is as easy to operate as the A3000. The relatively few controls are highly visible, clearly identified, and logically located. Optional accessories include digital readout and printout systems, automatic sampling, and curve corrections for elements where Beer's law does not hold true. The A3000 is an excellent instrument in the analysis of foodstuffs such as beer, wine, cellulose and high-protein materials. Clinical chemists have found atomic absorption to be a valuable tool in analysis of blood, body fluids and tissues for trace metals. Industrial uses are infinite, such as analysis of effluent, plating baths, lube oil, polymers, dyestuffs and practically any material where there is the need for trace metal analysis. Nobody ever made polarographic analyses so practical. Nobody, but nobody, makes a polarotrace that lets you do such a complete range of analyses. This is our Davis Differential Cathode Ray Polarotrace 1660. Sensitivity is at least 10"7M, permitting the use of small samples. And the high

resolution and tolerance simplify preparatory chemistry. The Bendix Polarotrace 1 660 features a two-cell, drop-synchronized linear voltage sweep to detect and measure trace elements in solution, permitting subtractive, comparative and derivative modes of analyses. The 1660 is excellent for metallurgical and effluent analyses and to determine trace toxic metals and essential minerals in foods and drugs. The 1 660 also permits organic species determination, such as quinone, nitro compounds, unsaturated or conjugated carboxylic acids, aldehydes, some ketones, many heterocyclic compounds and many types of sulphur-containing compounds.
