Suddenly, a nice girl becomes fast and deadly on conductivity measurements She's never been the same since her boss turned her loose on the new PW 9501/01 direct-reading conductivity meter. Thinks she's a technical genius now she can perform conductivity measurements with deadly accuracy at incredible speed. Give her the credit. But let us tell you how she does it. She's fast because the PW 9501/01 has easy cell constant adjustment from 0.01 to 30 cm -1 . The cell constant is transposed to the instrument and she directly reads the results out in i2-1cm-1. She doesn't have to make any calculations

and she can change from one cell to another without any bother. She's deadly accurate because there's a standard 100ohms Ni resistance thermometer which provides automatic temperature compensation from 0-120° C. Furthermore, she can match the amplification factor to the temperature coefficient of the liquid being measured or use a reference cell or compensate temperature manually with a knob on the front panel. With conductometric titrations, she can observe small variations along the whole scale and measure the actual conductivity at the same time.

But that's not all. She can also make measurements in earthed liquids and link the equipment with a recorder or slave instrument. Polarisation or capacity effects are of no consequence since they are reduced to negligible proportions by the two available measuring frequencies. And full transistorisation spells reliability through and through. If you'd like to make a nice girl fast and deadly, ask first for us to send you full details on the PW 9501/01 — the direct-reading conductivity meter which stands in a class of its own.
