She's fast because the PW 9501/01 has easy cell constant adjustment from 0.01 to 30 cm -1 . The cell constant is transposed to the instrument and she directly reads the results out in i2-1cm-1. She doesn't have to make any calculations
and she can change from one cell to another without any bother. She's deadly accurate because there's a standard 100ohms Ni resistance thermometer which provides automatic temperature compensation from 0-120° C. Furthermore, she can match the amplification factor to the temperature coefficient of the liquid being measured or use a reference cell or compensate temperature manually with a knob on the front panel. With conductometric titrations, she can observe small variations along the whole scale and measure the actual conductivity at the same time.
