For the photodissociation HN3(z) hu(248 nm) NH(a,u”) N2(X), the population ratios of the various states of NH(a,u”) were determined. For u ” = 4, a lower limit of NH(a,u”=4)/NH(a,OIu”l4) 1 0.002 was found. The population ratios NH(a,u”)/NH(a,Olu”l4) determined previously remain: 0.32,0.47,0.17, and 0.038 for u” = 0, 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
