RETEN 205 TAKES HOLD
New highly cationic polymer serves both as retention aid and flocculant in many process operations Reten 205 is a white, finely divided powder, soluble in either hot or cold water. Available in two viscosity grades —low and medium—it provides clear, smooth solutions for retention and flocculation without requiring acid conditionsforoptimum efficiency. include its use as: a paper machine retention aid; a coagulant aid with ferri-floc or alum for water clarifica tion; a size for synthetic fibers; and an antistatic coating for plastic film, paper, and yarns. It can also be used in: settling and filtering sewage, coal fines, and metallur gical ores; selective flocculation of fine particles, such as iron ores and clays; waste water purification; and flota tion-type save-alls.
