Biochemistry 2005, 44 (32), 10757−10765, DOI: 10.1021/bi050401x The Editor retracts this paper following an investigation by the Office of Research Integrity of the protein crystal structure of VCP in complex with suramin (VCP-suramin) and the corresponding structure factors and coordinate file deposited in the PDB for entry 1Y8E. The investigation concluded that data corresponding to these structures were fabricated as a result of research misconduct by Krishna H. M. Murthy. The original Article was published on July 23, 2005 and retracted on October 3, 2018.
