Pumice not only provides excellent insulation qualities, it is chemically inert and fire resistant. It's the perfect additive for paint and other types of protective coatings. Grades are available to provide textured appearance, to fill surface pores for extra smooth finish, or to make non-skid surfaces. Pumice mixes and bonds well with other materials. No special techniques are required to use the finished product.
