Glassware apparatus for determining the concentration of various gases con sists of three chambers for holding the absorbing gases; one chamber intro duces and holds gas, the second and third absorb oxygen and carbon dioxide, respectively. This system was de veloped by Scholander; carefully mea sured volumes give direct answers. The assembly uses only 0.5 ml of sample gas; accuracy is then 0 . 0 2 % ; analysis time ranges from 5 to 8 min.
