Three of the undiscovered elements whose properties Mendelheff foretoU i n great detail, ekaaluminum, ekaboron, and ekesilicon, were discovered within fifeen years from the time of their prediction. The first was found by Lecoq de Boisbandran i n France, the second by Lars Fredrik Nilson in Sweden, and the third by Clemens Winkler in Germany.
