Fluorometer Model 10 fluorometer is designed for field use in such studies as chlorophyll analysis and fluorescent-dye measurements for water tracing, flow rate, diffusion, and travel time. The photomultiplier sequentially reads no light, a reference beam from the light source, and fluorescence from the sample. Simultaneously, electronic circuitry subtracts dark current, corrects for intensity and gain variations, and measures fluorescence. The instrument weighs 22 lb and costs $3300. Turner Designs 405

RADIOMETER COPENHAGEN

Radiometer offers a single electrode for a multitude of purposes — the Ruzicka Universal Selectrode®. It can replace many singlepurpose electrodes with one electrode sensitive to many ions. The Selectrode® is sensitized by adding a small amount of electroactive material to its normally inert surface. This response may be altered whenever desired. It is ideally suited to ion studies, titration, quality control applications and as an educational tool for specific ion technology. Technical reports and literature available on request. NMR Analyzer PR-103 pulsed NMR analyzer features automatic, rapid, nondestructive measurements of product moisture, oil, density, etc. The measurements are taken by pulsing the sample with bursts of radiofrequency energy. Data are presented on a display console. System cost is $7100. The Praxis Corp. 408

Tunable Laser Nitrogen laser pumped dye laser System 337 allows a wide tuning range with only three dyes and 4 kW of peak power. Line widths are on the order of 3.0 nm (0.1 nm optional). A full range of accessories is available. A unique feature is the sealed tube nitrogen gas laser pump designated the N2-50. $11,995. Laser Energy, Inc. 404
