Design for the Environment The third ACS National Meeting Symposium on pollution prevention will be a highlight of the Washington, DC, Meeting. The symposium begins Sunday morning and ends Thursday. The program, called DfE: The Environmental Paradigm for the Twenty-first Century, will afford an opportunity for analytical and synthetic chemists, chemical engineers, economists, industrial and environmental scientists, man agers, and policy makers to report progress and exchange ideas on the implementation of pollu tion prevention as an integral part of our national environmental and economic policies.
