heat-seal adhesives; pres sure-sensitive adhesives, and adhesives that bond nylon to nylon, urethane foam to wood, aluminum foil to paper, etc.
Vinylpyrrolidone increases the dyë affinity of acrylic fibers anu improves moisture regain and hand.
Temporary d e c o r a t i v e aerosol paints formulated with copolymers of Vinyl pyrrolidone stick readily to metal, glass and other nonabsorbent surfaces, but are easily w a s h e d o f f . VjfiyipyrroUdone-Acrylic copolymers have excellent emulsifying and dispersing action i n polymer paints and are suggested for improved wetting of the pigment.
Textile Sizes: Modified copolymers of Vinylpyrrolidone and maleates or acrylics have characteristics wriicn suggest their use in textile sizes or water repellents. Similar copolymers are worth evaluation i n printing and padding.
Lube-Oil Additives: Copolymers of Vinyipyrroiidone a n d a c r y l a t e s or maleates contribute detergency and surface activity and improve viscosity index.
