Additional programs on equilibria and kinetics are planned. A reference periodic table is accessible from within any of the programs above. The table has been created specifically with the beginning college chemistry student in mind. focusine on the kinds of information important to introductory ;hemistry. Specific features includ'ed to support some of the Ksuolizntion of the Abstract in C'hemistnf series of programs are full-color emission spectra, graphic representations of the atomic and ionic radii, and unit cells graphics of the crystalline forms for all of the s, p, and d group elements. A major component of our work is to test the effectiveness of the software in tvpical colleee-level chemistm courses.
