L a t t e r are quoted in 5-, 25-, 100-gram quantities a s well as in kilo and 5-kilo quantities. Cherrxirad Corp., Laurel, Md., has lowered prices for ethylene imine monomer in research quantities. One to five pounds is now named at $60 per p o u n d against former price of $75. C o m p a n y reports that demand has en abled it to increase pilot plant produc tion of inline. Q u a k e r Oats Co., Chicago notes that its quotations for furfural in tank cars is now o n a delivered basis, not f .o.b. O n t h e n e w basis the price is 12 cents per p o u n d east of the Rockies, and 13 cents west of the Rockies. Quotation for tetarahydrofurfuryl al cohol is 4 4 x / 2 cents p e r pound in 80drum lots, cml. f.o.b. Cedar Rapids. Single drum lots and smaller quanti ties are 2 2 to 29 cents.
