Wingtack resin outperforms costlier modifiers for color, viscosity, heat stability. You can improve your hot melt coatings with a terpene modifying resin. Or you can improve them still further with a modifier that costs only about half as much. Try 20 pph or so WINGTACK® resin in your EVA/wax formulation. You'll get increased ad hesion and higher gloss than with many competi tive resins. One thing you won't get more of is color, as you can see in the picture at left. The photo shows the results of heat aging tests between WINGTACK andfiveother hot melt modi fying resins. After four hours at 400°F, WING TACK remained as light or lighter than any com petitor—even the costlier ones. Viscosity is something else WINGTACK offers you less of. At 350°F, a blend of wax and EVA with WINGTACK will give you less than 300 cps melt viscosity. Application is a lot easier. So is handling. WINGTACK comes in flakes, which are simpler to use than other resins' blocks or chunks. Compounding is easier, too. WING TACK is compatible with a wide range of hot melt materials, and it blends readily with EVA/wax.
