ublish your research in the Journal of Combinatorial Chemisrry—a n e w publication of the prestigious American Chemical Society. Submissions are Now Being Accepted... .. .in preparation for the launch of the Journal—in both print and web editions—in January 1999. This high-quality, peer-reviewed publication will report innovative work in the broad field of combinatorial chemistry, with a particular emphasis on: • solid-phase organic synthesis • solution-phase organic synthesis • methods of facilitating high-throughput synthesis • encoding • automation • polymer supports • the coupling of synthesis and screening of libraries, and • analytical characterization studies This will be the First Journal in this Area to: • institute requirements for the characterization of published libraries • require the inclusion of experimental details, thus meeting the high standards of ACS journals, and • emphasize teaching, rather than simply announcing, essential new research The Editorial Team is Recognized for Innovation Editor Anthony Czarnik—currently Chief Scientific Officer at Illumina in San Diego, CA—was a recipient of both the DuPont and Merck awards for new faculty while on the faculty of Ohio State University.
