DRESINATE

solves your emulsifier shortage Dresinate is the Hercules registered trademark for a series of sodium and potassium salts of various processed rosins and tall oil. Available in three attractively priced liquid types as emulsifiers for cutting oils, they give emulsions better hard-water stability than those stabilized with sulfonate alone. This improved stability has been found to hold over a wide range of both hard and soft waters. In certain cases, stable soluble oils and emulsions may be formulated using just Dresinate, sulfonate, and mineral oil. For the soluble oil producer, standardization with a properly chosen Dresinate can contribute to simplification of plant equipment and manpower needs as well as a reduction in emulsifier costs. Hercules has had many years of experience in the use of its Dresinates in cutting oils and other related applications.
