SARGENT WATER
BATH
COOLER A source for simultaneously circulating a coolant to several independent cooling circuits. Many uses—for cooling water baths, condensers, etc. —as a cooling chamber —as a refrigerating chamber Readily Portable · Requires no plumbing · Takes up no laboratory bench space S-84890 WATER BATH COOLER—Sargent.
An excellent source for supplying and circulating cold water at relatively constant temperature to cooling circuits of water baths, condensers, etc. It is recommended for use with the 5-84890 COOLER Oesignecf and Manufactured S-84805, S-84810, S-84860 water baths and S-67424, S-67427, by E. H. Sargent & Co. S-67428 and S-67429 viscosity baths. The cooler consists of a '/s H.P. prefilled and sealed compressor whose cooling coil is installed in an insulated stainless steel water tank. A thermostat in the water tank controls the Completely mobile, the cooler is equipped with four strong temperature of the coolant. The thermostat is set for operation wheels and enclosed in a steel cabinet with a gray enamel finish. at 8°C with a temperature regulation of + 1°C, but is adjustable Height including wheels, 36 inches; width, 14!/i inches; length, for use at other temperatures. A liquid circulating centrifugal 1714 inches; power consumption, 600 watts; weight, 135 pounds. pump located in the tank circulates the cooled water through Complete with three wire cord and plug for operation from three outlets to the cooling coils of baths. The pump and thermo115 volt, 60 cycle A.C. circuits $475.00 stat in the tank are protected by a corrosion resistant screen. Connection of the water bath coil to the outlet and inlet nipples of the cooler is accomplished by the use of Vi I.D. rubber tubing. Located on one half of the cooler cover together with three outlet stopcocks and three return inlet Actual o p e r a t i n g view nipples is the control unit. The control unit is equipped shows Sargent water bath cooler placed in position with two pilot lights and two toggle switches which next to laboratory bench separately energize the circulating pump and the comwith rubber tubing connections to cooling coils of pressor. An S-81425 thermometer,— 10° to 110° C, 5 - 8 4 8 0 5 and S-84810 water baths. inserted through the Bakélite cover indicates the temperature of the water. Removal of one half of the Bakélite cover provides access to the interior of the tank with approximately Vi cubic feet available for immersion of vessels in the coolant.
