The six Eastman a r o m a t i c amines p r o v i d e a source o f a n unusual range of couplers a n d intermediates. Primarily e m p l o y e d in the manufacture o f dyes a n d pharmaceutical chemicals, these compounds a r e also receiving active con sideration a s intermediates in the p r e p a r a t i o n of n e w insecticides a n d fungicides. The two primary amines, d i m e t h o x y a n d d i e t h o x y aniline, r e a d i l y form diazonium salts.
