wm-m HOLLOW SPINDLE
The Hollow Spindle has been added to Eberbach's high torque, variable speed Power-Stir now making it possible to use any stirring rod, glass, plastic or stainless steel between 7/32-inch and 5/16-inch (5.6—7.9 mm). The hollow spindle design permits convenient adjustment of the agitator's working length and allows complete withdrawal of the rod from the stirring vessel by simply raising it through the spindle
HIGH TORQUE
MODEL 54
The Power-Stir operates from a fan-cooled, series-wound, 1/10 horsepower motor equipped with a rheostat control knob. Maximum torque is 16 inch-pounds. Because of this unusually high torque the model 54 won't quit under tough jobs. Both motor and rheostat are mounted in individual, ventilated aluminum housings with natural finish VARIABLE SPEED
Power-Stir is designed for heavy-duty intermittent operation at speeds ranging from 100 to 1000 r.p.m. Speed reduction is accomplished through a worm gear drive at a 20-1 ratio. Semi-continuous operation may be had with light loads.
NOTE NEW ANGULAR SUPPORT ROD
is bent at 22 degree angle three inches from end. By rotating rod, the Power-Stir can be used up to 22 degrees from vertical in any direction
The Power-Stir Model 54 measures 9 inches long from chuck to control knob The Power-Stir alone no. 77-836 sells for S29.00 Complete with Universal Laboratory Support, 18-inch stainless steel agitator and a right-angle clamp (as illustrated) no 77-835 is priced at $46.85.
HOUOW SPINDLE
permits adjustment of agitator working length by merely sliding the stirring roil up or down when the chuck is loosened.
