We have found two errors in this paper. First, there was an error in the spreadsheet formulas used in the calculation of the like-ion velocity correlation coefficients obtained with eqs 7 and 8, each in the first term. Although the corrected normalized VCC isotherms still have very similar pressure dependences, there is a greater spread in the ratios fij/ fij(0.1 MPa), more so at 70 °C than at 50 °C (see revised Figure 4 below). We also see this in normalized VCCs for other

where ∆ is the Nernst-Einstein deviation parameter, the fij are velocity correlation coefficients, and the Di are ionic selfdiffusion coefficients. c is the amount concentration (molarity) of the ionic liquid. This expression gives values of ∆ in accord with those reported, which were calculated directly from eq 6. It should be noted that an equivalent form of this equation, derived for electrolyte solutions, but also applicable to molten salts with the appropriate fij,1 was originally given by Hertz.2 See also refs 3-7.
