The extraction of this chemical from coal is unique to this company. The processes used produce NH 4 CNS in crystal f o r m and the crystals are precipitated prior to d r y i n g . The extremely corrosive slurry is f e d to the Eimco through a 20 X 20 mesh screen, .019 inches open. Stainless steel materials of construction have re sisted the highly abrasive physical characteristics in the feed to provide trouble-free, low maintenance service since 1941. The 4 ' χ 2 ' Eimco Dryer has 25 square feet o f producing area. It processes 4,000 lbs. of concentrate per day (160 lbs. per square foot of filter area per day). Further economies are realized through the nominal BTU requirements necessary to d r y a pound of NH 4 CNS. Eimco Top Feed Dryers have been particularly suc cessful in plants dewatering slurries w i t h fast settling solids o f a granular or crystalline nature . . . and in processing heavy metallurgical feed where filtering rate justifies continuous operation. Eimco's Research and Development Center at Palatine, Illinois, provides you with the most com petent in manpower and facilities to help you choose the proper unit for your filtration problem . . .
