The last sentence of the left-hand column should read: “In general, the range of BT concentrations in bottlenose dolphins from the U.S. Atlantic coast was comparable or higher than those of the diseased Mediterranean dolphins (17) and finless porpoise (Neophocaena phocaenoides) and Risso’s dolphins (Grampus griseus) from Japanese coastal waters (18)”. Page 298. The fourth line of third paragraph of the righthand column should read: “were lower than the concentrations found in free-...”. The words “50-100-fold” should be deleted. Also, the last sentence of this paragraph should read: “The BT concentration recorded in captive bottlenose dolphin may indicate the magnitude of exposure arising under controlled conditions in captivity”. Pages 299 and 300. Figures 4 and 5: The captions should read: Y-axis has been log-normalized, and the concentration values were multiplied by 5 uniformly, prior to plotting.
