Process development— B.S. 0-5 years experience: To evaluate new and existing chemical processes. Design improvements in processes and equipment. Conduct experimental studies on assigned problems using laboratory, pilot plant or plant equipment. LOCATIONS: Saltville, Va., Lake Charles, La., Beaumont, Texas, Joliet, III., Niagara Falls, Ν. Y., Brandenburg, Ky., Charleston, Tenn.

PRODUCTION ENGINEERS

B.S. 0-3 years experience: To resolve production problems in the manufacture of sodium phosphates, acids and flou rides, chlor-alkali products, industrial and specialty organic products. Recommend new methods and modifications in processes. Must be interested in supervision and have ability to progress in production management. LOCATIONS: Joliet, III., Saltville, Va., Brandenburg, Ky.

RESEARCH

B.S. or M.S. 2-10 years experience: To conduct experiments in new process evaluation in electrochemistry, chlor-alkali products, sodium phosphates, flou rides, acids and other industrial and specialty products. Assist in economic evaluations and process design of new products and processes. LOCATION: Olin Research Center, New Haven, Conn.

PROJECT ENGINEERS

B.S. 5-10 years experience: To design chemical processes and equipment. Participates in the design and construction of plants from initial feasibility studies through plant start-up. Carries out economic evaluation studies preliminary to plant design. Assures that the processes will meet the quality and cost requirements of management. LOCATION: New Haven, Conn.

MECHANICAL AND INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING

B.S. 0-5 years experience: To develop effective main­ tenance programs in high tonnage chemical facilities. Determine methods and standards for accomplishing projects. Participate in plant and equipment layout of new and revised facili­ ties. Design new and improved manufacturing equipment. Must have supervisory capabilities. LOCATIONS: Niagara Falls, N. Y., Brandenburg, Ky., New Haven, Conn., Saltville, Va.

UTILITIES ENGINEERING

B.S. 2-5 years experience: To carry out utility studies to in­ crease efficiency and plan for expansions in a multi-boiler, steam generation facility. Assist in directing the steam generation plant facilities. LOCATION: Brandenburg, Ky.

ANALYTIC CHEMISTS

B.S.f M.S. and Ph.D. 0-5 years experience: To work on projects of an analytic instrumentation nature. Research projects on instrumental measuring techniques and analytic methods; wet organic analyses; molecular spectroscopy where a knowledge of nuclear magnetic resonance is required. ORGANIC PHYSICAL CHEMISTS
