You don't have to! Dohrmann now offers the most specific, sensitive and linear halogen detection system available. Our new DE-20 GC detector offers a selectivity of greater than 10 6 for halides over carbon, and 10 4 over sulfur, nitrogen and phosphorus. You'll especially like this feature: a miniaturized coulometric cell which uses replaceable solid silver electrodes. That means no pumps, no resins, no replating, and no magnetic stirrer. Low cost and simple t o use, the DE-20 is compatible with any gas chromatograph. When combined with the Dohrmann CP-1 continuous purge module, the DE-20 monitors total purgeable organic halides in drinking water t o ± 2 ppb! The DE-20 is directly applicable to FDA and U.S. Department of Agriculture methods which specify microcoulometric detection.
