INSTRUMENTS Zero air generator. This generator gives a continuous flow of hydrocarbon-free air from a existing compressed air supply that helps gas chromatographers automate GC-FID sampling with unattended gas supply. This generator reduces the total hydrocarbon content to less than 0.1 ppm (measured as methane) and produces stable baselines for reproducible GC-FID analysis. Air Products and Chemicals 112 Fast CG. An accessory for gas chromatography that enables analyses to be completed 10-100 times faster than possible with conventional GC systems. It is ideal for process control monitoring, a variety of laboratory analyses that require short time cycles, and environmental applications such as ambient air, hazardous waste, and soil gas analyses. Varian 113 Compact neutron generator. A compact source of pulsed 14-MeV neutrons that are controlled from a laptop computer, this generator is used in nondestructive analysis of bulk materials such as coal, nuclear material, and biological material. EMR Photoelectric 114 Metal analyzer. The ONGUARD correlator analyzer continuously monitors and records pH, lead, land copper corrosion rates, oxidation reduction potential, and system fouling. Data collected and graphed are used to meet lead and copper requirements. Drew Chemical 115 Fuel analyzer. This portable instrument uses mid-infrared spectroscopy to differentiate and quantify the individual components in fuels. It complies with environmental regulations and can be used in testing oxygenated gasoline, reformulated fuels, and low aromatic diesel fuels. PetroSpec 116 MS probes. SIS probes, including the high-temperature direct probe, calibration gas probe, and direct insertion probe, are useful for introducing samples in Hewlett-Packard MS Engine mass spectrometers.
