Evaporative Distillation Assembly This readily constructed, 14/20 S T evaporative distillation assembly offers a short, horizontal path for variable volumes. The material to be distilled may be concentrated separately on a Rotovac prior to distillation. Various heating techniques may be used, the distilling flask ( A ) may be manually rotated to enhitnee the distillation rate, and fractions may be cut. Efficient condensation is afforded by crushed dry ice in the cut-off polyethylene bottle (B). There is no necessity to transfer the collected distillate ( C )further.
