First Catalytic Reductive Coupling of 1,3-Diynes to Carbonyl Partners: A New Regio- and Enantioselective C-C Bond Forming Hydrogenation [J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2003, 125, 11488-11489]. Ryan R. Huddleston, Hye-Young Jang, and Michael J. Krische* Page 11489, Table 3. The regioisomeric ratio of 9b:iso-9b was 1:>99, not >99:1 as shown in Table 3. Coupling takes place proximal to the tert-butyl group. Acetylenic carbon atoms bearing a phenyl moiety possess a characteristic 13C NMR chemical shift at δ 122-123. The structure of the major regioisomer has been reassigned on the basis of 13C NMR data. JA070167T 10.1021/ja070167t Published on Web 01/30/2007
