Fisher Isotemp Bath in use for the precise and convenient calibration of viscosity tubes at the Gulf Research and Development Laboratories.
The Fisher Isotemp Bath introduces a new concept of precision, constant-temperature baths to meet the requirements of modern laboratory practice. It offers precise temperature control—to better than ±0.005° C. . . . chatterproof relays . . . 400-watt control heater and 800-watt auxiliary heater . . . temperature reset by d i a l . . . unobstructed top for free and easy access to the bath . . . and wide range, — 5 to +107° C. The bath itself is made of Pyrex brand glass, fifteen inches in diameter and fifteen inches high with a capacity of about ten gallons. It is surrounded by a cubical metal case with a clear glass window in front, and a clear, virtually shadowless illumination is provided throughout the bath. The lid of the bath may be rotated to bring any particular unit around to the front of the bath for convenient observation.
IMMEDIATE DELIVERY FROM STOCK Within the new Fisher Isotemp Bath the cooling coil (1), counter thrust impellers (2 and 3) r sensitive control element (4) and heater coils ( 5 ) — a r e all contained in central housing (6) to provide ample working space and free access to the Bath.
Temperature control is based on a unique resistance thermometer and thyratron tube circuit. Entire top of bath is open and is unobstructed.
