You can specify from a full range of thicknesses, weights, and coefficients of absorption, to suit most any problem that can be solved by chromatography or electrophoresis. Available are regular filter papers; hardened filter papers—having wet strength; acid washed papers—containing minimum organic and inorganic impurities, such as metal ions and fluorescent materials; and special filter media containing acetylated cellulose, ion exchange resins and others.
