X^^^^^K^^^^^^^ PROPERTIES: T h e s e four airlines arc soluble i n m o s t eominon organic solvents and dissolve in all proportions in v>ater t o give solutions with a pli around 12. T h e boiling points of t h e pure c o m p o u n d s are all a b o v e I 10° (J. 3-.M et box y propyl amine, t>.p. 1 16° C . e v a p o r a t e s with t h e water from dilute aqueous s o l u t i o n s leaving residues of approximately constant alkalinity. T h e chemieal reactions of this group of amines are similar in nature t o other aliphatie amines. POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS: T h e Chemieal arid physical properties of these amines indicate their possible use in the svnthesis o f emulsifying a g e n t s , germicides and pharmaceuticals.
