• Chas. Pfizer & Co., Inc., a pioneer in the development of fine chemicals used broadly in the food, industrial and pharmaceutical fields, has launched this new fumaricacid plant. Incorporating many uniquedesign features, it employs Scientific Design's process for the vapor-phase air oxidation of benzene in the presence of a special catalyst. The strategic midwestern location at Terre Haute, Indiana, assures fast, dependable deliveries of fumaric acid and its derivatives to consumers from coast to coast.
