Correction Functional Nanoparticle-Based Proteomic Strategies for Characterization of Pathogenic Bacteria Wei-Jen Chen, Pei-Jane Tsai, and Yu-Chie Chen* (Anal. Chem. 2008, 80, 9612–9621)

Because of the mistakes arising in mass-labeling, the potential biomarkers at m/z 1625 (E. coliUTI) and 1608 (S. sonnei) should be corrected to m/z 1631 and 1603, respectively. The ion at m/z 1500 (E. coli O157:H7), which is not used as one of the potential biomarker ions, also needs to be changed to 1505. The MS/MS spectrum of the peak at m/z 1603 and its putative identity obtained via protein database searching are provided in the Supporting Information. The corrections do not affect the significance of the method proposed in this article. SUPPORTING INFORMATION AVAILABLE Additional information as noted in text.
