Type 1302-A Oscillator. . . features extremely wide frequency r a n g e of from 10 cycles t o 100 kc a n d excellent frequency stability. Semi-logarithmic frequency selector eliminates crowding at low frequencies, enables precise settings at all frequencies — fre quency calibration is ± (l}i% + 0.2 cycles) — harmonic distortion is less than 1% at all frequencies — as much as 80 milliwatts is obtainable into 5000-ohm load — voltage regulation eliminates effects of line-voltage transients. Labeled pushbuttons select linear or semilogarithmic operation and determine input attenuator value — maximum gain of S3 db at 1 kc with 1 megohm load — high null-detector sensitiv ity; less than 100 μν input gives 10% meter deflection at 1 kc — aural or visual indication of bridge balance — harmonics and noise eliminated by the Type 1231-P5 Adjustable Filter. Four pairs of ratio arms provided for convenient direct-reading operation at 100 cycles, 1 kc, 10 kc, and 100 kc — variable aircapacitor is built into circuit for use in substitution measure ments — special double-shielded leads for all connections be tween guard circuit, bridge and unknown — all components which might contribute capacitance to ground are mounted in shielded compartment connected to the guard point.

Type 1690-A Dielectric Sample Holder is an auxiliary device which is readily attached to the Capacitance Bridge terminals. This addition makes possible measurement of dielectric constant and loss of practically any solid dielectric. The sample holder's 2" diameter electrodes are ground optically flat and are micrometer driven for utmost accuracy. The instrument is rugged, well shielded and useful at all frequencies to 100 Mc and higher. Additional Price $395.00

Wide capacitance range of 100 μμ/ to 1 μ/, direct reading, at 1 kc — direct reading in dissipation factor from 0.00002 to 0.56 — accuracy in substitution measurements is =±0.1% or =*=0.5 μμ/, whichever is the larger — precision capacitor wormcorrection is supplied at extra charge enabling accuracies of =>=0.1% or ===0.2 μμ/—· this bridge is easy to operate — ratio arms, transformers, and unknown terminals are com pletely shielded.
