Get 9% more paint from every pound of latex binder

Switch from conventional polyacrylate latices to ACRYLENE® 45.

This modified acrylic latex has a 1.05 specific gravity; polyacrylates, 1.15. So a pound of ACRYLENE 45 has 9% more vol ume. Makes 9% more paint. Reduces binder cost 7 φ per gallon of paint, even though it's priced the same per pound as polyacrylates.

Two years of field exposure prove that ACRYLENE 45 formulations have better re sistance to weather and ultraviolet than the best commercial polyacrylate paints. Better tint retention. And it's non-yellow ing, so whites stay white. You also have more latitude in formu lation, because solids content is 55%. You can cut down on additives, too.

ACRYLENE 45 permits full color develop-' ment at low colorant or surfactant levels. And ACRYLENE 45, with its well-balanced triple monomer system, improves chemi cal resistance in any coating. Make highest quality exterior paints for less. Get the "big pound," ACRYLENE 45. Goodyear Chemical Data Center, Dept. L-16, Box 9115, Akron, Ohio 44305.
