ULTRA PURE GASES for laboratory use
An automatic scanning microphotometer, the Model VS-12M, measures intensity distribution in optical images and performs optical bench analyses. The instrument is essentially a lowpower traveling microscope designed to be used with photomultiplier photometers. Positioning micrometers are used to move the microscope staging horizontally and axially. For automatic operation a synchronous drive motor is coupled to the horizontal or traverse movement of the x-y stage. The VS-12M is suited for such applications as optical image analysis, microdensitometry, CRT spot size measurement, photometric particle size and count analysis, and many other applications where ordinary microscopes are not readily adaptable. The XRD-6SP fully programmed SPG 4 spectrometer with automatic sample-changer and dual crystal assembly has been designed for rapid routine analyses. The programmer allows selective positioning of each sample at any or all of 11 angle settings on the x-ray spectrogoniometer. The 90unit capacity sample changer and the ability to selectively choose from among eight variables enable this system to be applied to many chemical, petroleum, and other processes.
