GILFORD DIRECT ABSORBANCE

Gillord Spectrophotometers utilize a u n i q u e principle to measure ftbsorhance d i r e c t l y . The second and third decades, severely compressed in %—transmittance instruments, are fully expanded in Gillord I n s t r u m e n t s - f o r equal accuracy and resolution throughout the complete ran£e Absorbance is presented digitally to 0 001 A - f r o m 0 000 A to 3 000 A or it can be readily recorded Concentration is measurable directly over a 1000.1 range.

MODEL 240 SPECTROPHOTOMETER The Model 2 4 0 spectrophotometer combines α quality Gilford-design' monochromator with the dependable Gilford photometric system. Tl combination has produced an instrument of unusual accuracy, ranç and versatility—simple to operate and highly productive. The optic system, characterized by low stray light and high UV efficiency, fe tures linear wavelength and slit width controls with numerical indie tion. A rugged optical-bench accessory mount and clear, unciutter exit aperture plane promote easy alignment and quick interchange attachments. The wide r a n g e — 0 . 0 0 0 to 3.000 A—photometer is linear absorbance measuring system of high resolution. Stabilize for the photometer and dual-lamp source are contained in a sine solid state supply module. Equipped with a four-position manual c positioner.

MODEL 2000 AUTOMATIC SPECTROPHOTOMETER The Model 2 0 0 0 is a versatile, all-purpose spectrophotometer superior range, stability, and photometric resolution. It is packag into two self-contained units: (1) The lamp source, monochromati automatic cuvette positioner, and photometer/indicator unit. (2) Τ main console with controls, recorder, power source, photometric c cuit, line-voltage regulator, extended cuvette dwell-timer (up to minutes), and circuitry and connections for additional accessories. Τ Model 2 0 0 0 is particularly suited for determining time-depende reaction rates and for automatic, quantitative monitoring of effluei from multiple chromatographic columns or density gradient tub Other applications include observation of dissolution and polym< ization changes, spectrophotomerric titration, precision turbidime and colorimetry, large-scale clinical testing, and industrial proo and quality control.

MODEL 300 MICRO-SAMPLE SPECTROPHOTOMETER The Model 3 0 0 is a new concept in precision absorbance spectropho metry. It is a moderately priced, compact, integrated system wht photometric range a n d accuracy, combined with a unique rapid so pling system, provide a versatility and simplicity of operation ι matched by complex and costly instruments. The unusual capability the Model 3 0 0 is achieved through the use of three new Gilford e ments: a solid-state photometer, an excellent optical system, and vacuum-driven sampling system coupled to a digital absorbance in cator. Accurately metered samples of 5 0 0 microliters or less may analyzed a t a rate of 4 to 6 per minute. The sample cell is fill· the absorbance measured, and the cell flushed by means of a sin« control lever. Absorbance range extends from 0.000 to 2.000A. Write or call for specifications and
