Conference on Recent Advances in Fermentation Technology
T
he Society for Industrial Microbiology and the ACS Division of Biotechnology are cosponsoring the special conference "Recent Advances in Fermentation Technology/' Nov. 4-7, at the Town & Country Hotel in San Diego. The conference will be a forum for scientists and engineers from various disciplines to exchange information and ideas on the latest advances in fermentation technology. Five symposia, one poster session, and a roundtable discussion will be presented during the three days of sessions. Vincent Gullo of Schering Plough Research Institute is the conference chairman. Program cochairmen are Robert Schwartz of Abbott Laboratories and Randolph Greasham of Merck Research Laboratories.
