YANKEE ROTATORS when gentle continuous mixing i s indicated Yankee Rotators simulate hand mixing by imparting a gentle circular motion in the horizontal plane, and are therefore valuable in all pro cedures where gentle continuous mixing is indicated. They are rug gedly built for continuous heavy duty under loads up to 25 lbs. Their constant speed A C motor is pre-lubricated. A non-slip rubber surface on the mixing platform prevents containers from slipping when the unit is in operation. Rubber suction feet anchor the unit firmly, even to glass surfaces. Models A - 2 2 7 0 and A - 2 2 7 5 operate at 1 3 0 R P M , and have a built-in timer which permits setting the mixing time for periods.of 2 to 5 minutes of automatic operation. The timer can be cut out of the circuit when continuous mixing is desired. M o d e l A - 2 2 8 0 operates at 1 0 0 R P M . It has no timer. M o d e l A - 2 2 7 0 is designed for larger laboratories and has an 11 χ 11 " mixing platform which can accommodate a number of flasks or other containers. Models A - 2 2 7 5 and A - 2 2 8 0 have 8 χ 8" platforms ac commodating one large container.

A r e You Equipping a Research or Control Laboratory? Today's industrial laboratories require efficient, labor saving equip ment to meet specialized conditions. Here is a typical Hamilton assem bly of standard units, designed to meet those conditions. The serv ice outlets on the reagent rack leave the working surface unob structed. A convenient arrangement of drawers and cupboards provide ample storage space for apparatus and materials. Sturdy steel construc tion— durable opaque enamel finish — long wearing soapstone top in sure years of hard and efficient service. W r i t e for complete details on Hamilton and Control Laboratory
