Various analyt­ ical methods are next described, fol­ lowed b y a chapter on methods of sepa­ ration and one on specialized approaches, including microscopy, mass spectrom­ etry, R a m a n spectroscopy, and polarimetry. B y way of summary, t h e authors pre­ sent several typical problems in organic analysis, illustrating t h e interrelation­ ship of analytical approaches.
