SULPHURIC ι HAVEG

ACETIC . . . HYDROCHLORIC . HYDROFLUORIC safely handled equipment.

A tough PLASTIC, H A V i G is made of asbestos iiibres bonded together with a synthetic resin under heat a n d pressure. One piece seamless umlis as large as 10 feet in diameter by 12 feet high are molded of HAVEG, It is strong, tough aoid resilient a n d needs no special handling in normal chemical service. Scratches or gouges do not impair its chemical resistance since HAVEG is completely resistant throughout its entire mass. HAVEG IS NOT A COATING OR LINING. 265° F (130° C) WILL NOT DAMAGE HAViEG, neither will rapid temperature changes. Hot contents may b e emptied a n d cold c h a r g e s loaded without a n y waiting. Heating at contents is readily accomplished i n HAVEG tanks with bayonet heaters, coils, jets, or other types of heat excliangers. HAVEG is a he-at insulator a n d therefore contributes to t h e efficiency of the heating medium.

Cylindrical H A V E G tanks are molded in on© p i o c e sa l a r g e as 10 i t . dia. 12 ft. h i g h .

ALKALIES TOO can b e handled in HAVEG equipment. Potassium Hydroxide . . . Sodium Hydroxide . . . for example. Refer to Chemical Resistance Table i n Bulletin F-4 for proper grade for specific applications. y* jïiir* 1 •16

COMPLETE ENGINEERING DATA IN B U L L E T I N F 4 The illustrations herewith show t h e completeness of the engineering data i n HAVEG bulletin F 4. This bulletin has been prepared so that you c a n design complete HAVEG installations with a minimum of correspondence. O u r engineers are of course ready to help you determine w h e r e a n d how HAVEG chemical equipment c a n help solve your corrosion problems. Send today for Bulletin F 4.
