MADE IN LONG LENGTHS HAVEG Chemical Pipe lines axe qtaickiy installed with a minimum number of joints. In standard sizes 1' to and including 1 2 ' HAVEG piping is furnished in ten loot lengths. Joints are easily handled since connections are of a simple split flange d&sign which is quickly assembled and assures a positive leak proof joint.

HAVKG chemical piping is made* of asbestos fibres bonded toe/ether with a synthetic resin under head and pressure. HAVEG piping i s strong, tough and resilient. It reoruires no special handling as it is not brittle. It is chemical resistant THROUGHOUT ITS ENTIRE MASS, therefore surface scratoh.es or even d e e p gouges d o not impair its chemical resistance. Should c i a c l s or breaks occur, they are readily mended, on the job, with HAVEG repairing cement. HAVEG piping i s unaffected by rapid temperature d i a n g e s and can be used continuously at temperatures as high a s 265° F (130° C).

HAVEG piping is supplied in standard 10 foot lengths complete with connections, expansion joints* fittings a n d valves where chemical pipe lines can be blueprinted before instaHatiom. Wnere lines cannot b e planned in advance, or where for some other reason it is desirable t o erect lines as installation of tanks, towers and other equipment proceeds, HAVEG piping is readily cut and fitted "on t h e job". HAVEG is readily cut by using a band, circular or ha\ck saw. It is conveniently machined about the same as brass, using high s p e e d and slow feed. It may b e machined dry, not requiring lubricants or water. HAVEG bulletin F-(4) g i v e s conaplete data on how to specify, erect and service HAVEG piping.
