New Text phosphate Bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate is a new octyl phosphoric acid now in commercial production by VirginiaCarolina Chemical Corporation. It is a light yellow, fluid liquid with an of =1.4414 and d2% = 0.972. The technical grade material (purity ca 95%) is a strong monohydrogen organic acid, insoluble in water and miscible with the normal organic solvents. Recommended as a reagent for the solvent extraction of uranium from its ores, bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate may have properties and characteristics which will help you improve a product or a process» It will pay you to investigate this and other V-C Organic Acid Phosphates.
