Correction to “Highly Biocompatible Chlorin e6-Loaded Chitosan Nanoparticles for Improved Photodynamic Cancer Therapy” Yuan-Fu Ding, Shengke Li, Lijun Liang, Qiaoxian Huang, Lihui Yuwen, Wenjing Yang, Ruibing Wang,* and Lian-Hui Wang* ACS Appl. age 9982. The original Figure 2c inset was mistakenly replaced with the TEM image of blank chitosan nanoparticles (CNPs, Figure 2b inset) when the authors attempted to adjust the scale-bars of both TEM images (Figure 2b inset and 2c inset) during revision stage (indeed, the first version of the submission had the correct images). Figure 2 with the corrected Figure 2c inset is enclosed below to avoid confusion to readers. The oversight was discovered by the authors after the paper was published online. The presented correction does not affect the results and conclusions of this article.

Figure 2. (a) Representative scheme depicting the preparation CNPs-Ce6 (glutaraldehyde); DLS and TEM (inset) images of (b) CNPs and (c) CNPs-Ce6; (d) FT-IR spectra of chitosan chains, CNPs, and CNPs-Ce6; (e) EE and LE results determined by UV−vis; (f) physiological stability of CNPs-Ce6 in water; PBS; 1640-medium; and FBS.
