T h i s is our w h i z - b a n g p a c k i n g n u t c o m b i n a t i o n . On t h e left is t h e garden variety, s t a n d a r d nut. On t h e right is t h e interchangeable panel mounting adapter. Result: Y o u can s t o c k s t a n d a r d valves (at lower cost) and c o n v e r t t h e m f o r panel m o u n t i n g as needed. A n d w h a t goes under t h e packing n u t ? Y o u have a choice y e t . A n O-ring f o r temperatures under 2 0 0 ° F . a n d non-corrosive service. For tougher duty, Hoke's n e w Dyna-Pak consisting o f alternate t h i n layers o f T e f l o n a n d Stainless is t h e a n s w e r .
