hold that foam with new Aromox™ amine oxides Now, get excellent foam stability with Armour's new series of biodegradable AROMOX amine oxides. Top photo shows detergent foams im mediately after discharge from aerosol containers. Both foams were produced from detergent solutions containing identical amounts of triethanolamine lauryl sulfate. The one on the right, how ever, was stabilized with an AROMOX amine oxide. Look at the difference—initially and after 30 minutes! You can get this kind of stability at lower use-cost than with many commonly used foam stabilizers. TWO TYPES. The new AROMOX series includes three bis(2-hydroxyethyl)alkylamine oxides and three dimethylalkylamine oxides. 10

OTHER USES. Essentially neutral surface-active agents, these compounds can improve a variety of products and processes. Besides stabilizing foam, AROMOX compounds increase viscosity, and contribute emollient, detergent and antistatic properties. They can also be used as emulsifiers, textile assistants, polymerization catalysts and inhibitors, and pour-point depressants. For more details, write Dept. CE for
