For research or analytical work in the higher temperature ranges V Y C O R brand glassware is a natural. Temperatures of 900°C are well within limits for l o n g time operations. It can be used up to 1250°C for intermittent heating. If it's hot, V Y C O R brand glassware can take it. In addition to the high heat resistance of Vycor brand glassware the simple composition ( 9 6 % silica) makes it exceptionally g o o d for precise analytical work. It is unusually stable with acids, mild alkalis, water, and Steam at high and l o w temperatures. A variety of beakers, flasks, tubing, graded seals and ground joints makes it possible to assemble complete equipment for many high temperature applications. When you have a hot problem use V Y C O R brand glassware.
