T h e $64 question is not "what is the price of t h e valve," b u t "how, much is it w o r t h ? "

And t h e measure of its worth is "will it do t h e job, how long will it give satisfactory service, and what will be the ultimate cost of mainte nance?" F o r in addition to the cost of labor and materials in maintaining a valve, don't lose sight of the serious loss in production while a valve is " d o w n " for repairs or replacement.
