This is W h y the Nash is the Most Simple Compressor
ifeà t&e Tfataf There are no mechanical complications in a Nash Compressor. A single moving element, a round rotor, with s h r o u d e d blades, forming a series of buckets, revolves freely in an elliptical casing containing a n y low viscosity liquid. This liquid, carried with t h e rotor, follows t h e elliptical contour of t h e casing. The moving liquid therefore r e c e d e s from the rotor buckets at t h e w i d e part of t h e ellipse, permitting t h e b u c k e t s to fill with gas from t h e stationary Inlet Ports. As t h e casing narrows, t h e liquid is forced back into t h e rotor buckets, compressing the gas, and delivering it through t h e fixed Outlet Ports. Nash Compressors p r o d u c e 7 5 lbs pressure in a single stage, with capacities to 6 million cu. ft. p e r d a y in a single structure. Since compression is secured by an entirely different principle, gas p u m p i n g problems difficult with ordinary p u m p s are often h a n d l e d easily in a Nash. Nash simplicity means low maintenance cost, with original p u m p performance constant over long periods Data on t h e s e pumps sent immediately on request
NASH 100 A
