COMPLETE AUTOMATI C DE-IONIZER Here is a complete, loaded, fullyinstrumented, automatic ionXchange unit in a neat, compact, and ready-tooperate "package." I t is equipped with our own Illco/Matic, all-plastic, aira c t u a t e d valves, which h a v e been specially developed for ionXchange service. The Control Panel, also our own design and manufacture, provides all necessary quick-adjustment features, and requires only electrical hook-up to the terminal box on the frame. T h e only other connections required are to plant service.
Also featured are a switching circuit which allows separate or simultaneous counting in u p p e r or lower hemispheres without disconnecting anode cables, a n d a ball-type flowmeter and needle valve. All gas passages are internal. T h e 21/'._,inch spherical counting chamber irpolished t o a m i r r o r finish, a n d t h e anode loops are of 0.002-inch diameter stainless steel wire. Separate signal, high voltage, a n d preamplifier power cables assure minimum signal interference, according t o t h e company. T h e i n s t r u m e n t can count in either t h e p r o portional or geiger regions a n d is designed t o operate from 500 t o 5000 volts. P-10
